The 2nd Rippey reunion held in Livingston, TX celebrated the living eldest male Rippey’s 90th birthday;  Jim Rippey born June 21st 1931.  Attending this four day get together were the children, grandchildren and a great grandchild of Ralph and Lainys Rippey (deceased).

Their children included; the eldest child Barbara Anthony, age 100, who was unable to attend but her  immediate family in attendance was Brian, Stuart and Eric Anthony (wife Pat). The 2nd eldest was Jack Rippey (deceased), in attendance was Jim and wife Jennifer and son Jobe (age 13).  The third eldest was Norine Kott (deceased) and her daughter Dana and husband Bobby.

The Family of the youngest child of Ralph and Lainys is Jim Rippey.  In attendance was his wife Selma (married 48 years), Catherine, eldest daughter, husband Steve, daughter Shannon, Jay and children Brad (24) and great grandson Jax.(age 2 ½).  Youngest daughter Jill, husband Tom and daughters Sharayah and Rachael (husband Peter) also attended.  

Family flew in from Reno, California, two cities in the State of Washington, Florida and New Hampshire.  The consensus at the end was “let’s do it again soon.”  The first reunion was held 15 years ago!  

On June 19th,  2021 we said goodbye to Sallee who was a big part of the Rippey family. She went home to be with the Lord and we hope she met her dad there.  Her mother married Otto Rippey (her dad) who disappeared never to be heard from again when she was a child.  Hopefully they are all also having a family reunion.
